The name is Lamb, Ken Lamb, and believe it or not, I’m a sheep farmer!  I haven’t always had sheep.  Growing up we had pigs and beef cattle, and I continued with them until 2010 when we made a drastic change to sheep.  It was a great move for us, which goes to show, a little change can be a good thing!

Which brings me to the theme of this blog – Change – There are lots of issues in the world; from Global Warming and Climate Change, to GMO’s, Animal Welfare (as opposed to Animal Rights) Food Safety, Soil Conservation, Green Energy, and Just Saving the Planet to name a few.  The world is an ever-changing place, and many of these subjects revolve around whether that change is a good thing or a bad thing.. and it’s rarely black and white.

I have opinions on many of these subjects, and I like to think I have a rather informed opinion on some of them.  I do not ever guarantee that these opinions won’t change over time.  Keeping an open mind is one of the most important things people can do, and understanding other’s opinions, and where they are coming from is essential to revising and refining (or maybe just reaffirming) one’s own thoughts and beliefs.

So I thought I’d put some of my thoughts and opinions out there, and see how many people think I’m out to lunch…
